Mudpuppies Sports Bar and Grill: A Unique Dining Experience in Arden, NC

Stopped in to check the place out. It's rather large inside, with tons of large screen TVs. I got lucky in that they open at 11 for lunch on Friday. There was a good crowd and it was still pretty quiet. Nice and clean; the decor was simple and pleasant. I ordered the bacon avocado salad with shrimp and spicy ranch dressing. It was very tasty. Fresh greens, all romaine, nicely cut veggies in delicious combi nation. I was sorry when it was gone, but I was full. Even the tea was good. There was one wait staff for the lunch rush, and he did fine, I just had to wait. I'll return and bring my husband to try other menu choices. Thanks Mud Puppies!

Good food, tried a few burgers and sushi rolls but was sad to see they no longer have a sushi menu available at least last time I was here. Usually pretty busy but the outside deck areas nice

We've been wanting to try this place and finally made it. Ample parking outside, and very friendly staff. My husband got the bacon smash burger, I got the open faced sushi burger, and we split the fried pickles. The pickles were great and came with a really flavorful ranch. My husband really enjoyed his burger and like the burger sauce, which was kind of sweet, tangy, and smoky. My sushi burger was so good, the kimchi slaw was delicious and the flavors really worked together well. The prices were good and the portions were huge. Our server was also so friendly and sweet. They have some really unique looking sushi rolls so we'll definitely be back to try those. Give this place a try if you're in the neighborhood!

As someone who’s not that into sports but wanted fish n chips (made with white fish and not catfish), I was pleasantly surprised by how nice this space is. It’s not super loud, and even though there are TVs everywhere, they’re just high enough to not constantly be distracting. I’ve come here a few times in the past and sat at the bar and felt welcomed and safe. And the menu is not the typical run-of-the-mill stale, cheap sports bar food. - I sat on the patio on my most recent visit and enjoyed the perfect day with the perfect meal. Great service, great food, great atmosphere. 100% recommend. I also follow their socials to stay up to date on specials and events! Also, the tuna taco appetizer is DELICIOUS!!!

Ordered the avocado salad with buffalo chicken and it was fantastic. Margarita to pair was equally delicious. Would recommend giving them a try. I mean look at this salad, it was a work of art! My husband ordered the fish and chips which was perfectly battered. Overall, great experience.

Great service,great food,and great price for a nice cold beer. I got the brunch burger and it was delicious. You walk in an are immediately greeted and sat down with plenty of room, food came out quick and our waitress was very attentive. Highly recommend coming here, I live local and will be back regularly for more great experiences.

First time here, and I love the layout and the overall vibe. The manager Louis greeted us at the door, which is always a good sign. Sharron was sweet and very attentive. It's a great place to watch a game and have some drinks order some food and have a good time. My only knock is the music it's the same genre, no variety. I hope to hear some classic rock and some country mixed in there to be more relatable for the old souls. But it's a wonderful place. I was glad to show up and up and to show my support for the opening.

I tried Mudpuppies for the first time today, and I will definitely be back! This has officially become one of my favorite places to eat. The Crab Rangoon dip is to die for, and the burgers are not only flavorful, but juicy, too! The fries were perfectly cooked and seasoned. The restaurant was very clean inside, and our server, Logan was phenomenal!
